MRU doors are secured at 9 p.m. daily, but students can gain access via their OneCard up to 10:45 p.m. Exception: EL (the RLLC building) offers 24-hour access for students with their OneCard.

Admission to Mount Royal University is competitive! It means students with higher grades will be considered first. ๐ Your competitive average will be calculated on your two highest Group A subjects. The competitive average varies from program to program and from year to year. For more information, see the Admission Requirements chart and refer to the competitive average range.
In addition, make sure to review the requirements for the specific program you are considering, as a limited number of programs also require additional criteria such as an interview or portfolio.
Mount Royal has a general admission policy that applies to most undergraduate (credit) programs. Each program also has specific admission requirements. Please ensure you are familiar with both the general and specific admission requirements for the program(s) you select. In addition, all applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency for the purpose of admission if their first language (learned and understood) is not English.

For high school coursework to be used for admission purposes, courses must be completed by June 30 for the Fall Semester. When completing your application, report all 5-credit Group A and B courses(or equivalents) which will be completed by June 30.
Group C courses do not need to be reported at the time of application but will be assessed later on in the admission process once final official transcripts have been received.
